After a nail-biting week of dotwatching the HT550, it's been great to see who prevailed in the extreme weather to make it back to Tyndrum. We're also looking ahead to the Trans Am Bike Race that starts on Sunday 2nd June.

NEED TO KNOW

HIGHLAND TRAIL 550

WINNER: DUSTIN EROH
TIME: 4D 2H 54M

This discipline of racing is no stranger to DNFs but this year's HT550 reported unprecedented levels of withdrawal. Within the first 48 hours, 21 riders had scratched due to torrential weather and dangerous river crossings. While the course record still remains, Dustin rode a phenomenal ride to finish in a little over 4 days. Michelle Dulieu is the only remaining woman out on the course but having completed it last year, we're confident we'll see a bouncing dot very soon.

A big thank you must go to our commentator Mike Toyn who was able to draw on his own experience of the race to provide context to the dots.
