Leaders of the Trans America Bike Race have now entered the race's second state of Idaho. While that continues, take a look at the TransAtlantic Way Race Preview ahead of Thursday's grand depart.

Back for 2019 but with two route options for those daring to brave the conditions, the TransAtlantic Way rolls out of Dublin on Thursday. With a host of names from around the world on the list, we'll be watching closely to see how the Wild Atlantic Way treats its visitors.

The TransIbérica and Transpyrenees races are a highlight on the calendar for the challenges they bring to riders taking part. While one event demands riders stick to a set route via checkpoints, the other leaves the responsibility with the riders themselves.

Australian rider Abdullah Zeinab has a lead of over 130 miles but can he hang on for the rest of the race? Brit and lead female rider Lea Meszarosova has increased the gap between her and her nearest rival to 80 miles. It's early days but as the field approaches the mountains, it'll be interesting to see who prevails and who decides against them.
