Happy weekend, folks!
Thanks again to everyone who came along to our Halloween Show on Thursday night. We had the best time. We're chuffed to bits to have you lot out there supporting the shows. Halloween hugs to you all!

Don't know what the weather is like where you are, but it's miserable here. So here's a bit of Spooker craic to (hopefully) cheer up your day
Buy tickets for Martha Hill
Sure we've probably mentioned this a couple of times now... but we've only gone and got the wonderful MARTHA HILL to come and play in our little attic. To say we're excited is a smidge of an understatement. But YAY!!!

Martha Hill

After growing up as one of six siblings on a remote Scottish peninsula, where the only link to the mainland was via ferry, she left home at 17 and spent two years touring across Europe as a street musician.

Eventually relocating to north-east England and falling in with a local ‘scene’ for the first time, Martha and her band have spent the past year touring all over the UK - supporting the likes of Holy Moly & The Crackers and Let's Eat Grandma at venues such as Borderline, The Cluny etc. - with two DIY tours of Europe falling in between. She even played The Sage last month supporting Maximo Park and Field Music, along with a big effing orchestra behind her! What a gal! Go

Her debut single ‘Spiders’ was released in June 2018 and has been championed by The Line Of Best Fit, BBC Radio 6 Music & Spotify amongst others, with her second single 'Wallflower' recently released too! You can listen to both on Spotify (and other places) right now -- & we highly recommend you do. She's bloody great.

Support for the show comes from these two beauts: George Boomsma and Andrew Smith.

George is returning to the attic after a sold-out show back in February when he released his latest album 'Do Something With The Night'. We can't wait to hear more loveliness from him (we've missed ya, George!)

Also very chuffed to be bringing Hartlepool-based Andrew Smith to the attic too, with his DIY guitar-based-pop music project that was both written and recorded from home. We love that.

Tickets are selling fast for this one, so get them soon if you wanna come!
Just in case you didn't already know, we make this podcast where we chat with the bands who come to play shows for us in the attic. We ask them some nice questions and some ridiculous questions. They even record a track or two for us. It's loadsa fun!

Our latest one is now available for listening right here, where you can go have a listen to Ricky and Rachael chatting with Grawl!x, Moniker, and Ben Bateman.

For this episode, in our iconic 'Shawarma Corner' segment, we've got an extra special treat for you: Fellow Spooker, and Nel Unlit's one and only, Jon Horner has done a special feature to talk you through something really important to him: pyjamas. That's right. It's 'Jon's Jammies'.

You can listen to all of the past episodes on our Mixcloud page too - or click on the images below to be taken directly to the episode you wanna hear.

We've got another couple of episodes due out soon too. Very excited about the next one, as we recorded it live with our audience during the Our Krypton Son & Sullivan and Gold gig. We'll be back soon with that one!
Nel News

We're still swooning over Nel Unlit's latest release, 'Fireflies'. Turns out loadsa people are also taking note of how bloomin' brilliant they are. Here's a couple of lovely reviews of their releases to date. (Congrats, guys!)
"A beautiful, ambitious and eventful piece of music, ‘Fireflies’ is Nel Unlit setting out their stall and inviting the listener to join them on their upcoming exploration of music and story"  - With Guitars
. . .

“True Things is Super! I laughed, I cried, I was left wanting more”. “Unhung thrums with a truly timeless quality”  - The Crack
. . .
“Delightfully off-kilter, tremendously mesmerising, a track you want to play again and again” “Replete with drama, hanging from each near-whispered vocal line” - NARC
. . .

“Beautiful, lullaby-like acoustics. Deep, immersive and saturated moods. It’d be criminal if you didn’t give this band a listen”  - NE Volume

They've got a couple of shows lined up too, the first of which is tonight supporting Spooker fave Kiran Leonard at the Green Room in Stockton. Get yourselves there!
