It's finally Fall, and now that the outside temperatures are more tolerable, we have been spending much of our time outdoors. Our youth and Friends have been loving these warm autumn days, enjoying the sights and sounds of Tracy Aviary! The friends have used Tracy Aviary to promote a growth mindset, and help the youth learn from each encounter.

Fall is one of the best times to visit this wonderful place! There is so much to see and experience, from the peacock to the botanical gardens, there is something there for everyone.
 
After a recent visit to the aviary, one of the Friends took his youth for a bike ride around Liberty Park to get some exercise and look at the fall colors in the trees.

Partners in Parenting

We recently held a Partners in Parenting Group Activity on Roadmap Goals. Our Friends, Ashley and Prudence, put together an activity for the caregivers in our program to get involved in their child's Roadmap Goals.  

Roadmap Goals are goals that the Friends set up with the youth's caregiver to make their outings and activities more intentional. These goals are created to support school success, improved health, prosocial development, plans and skills for the future, and making good choices.


It's important for our caregivers to be involved in the goal setting process. Having them take part in this decision-making process helps us to know what goals need to be focused on to create the most success for our youth.

Dinner with Friends

Thank you for another great Dinner with Friends! It was an evening of gratitude and giving where we celebrated the year's achievements! We'd like to thank our generous donors and community supporters for their continued efforts in making an impact in our community.
