Late-October 2019

Stay on Target!
We have to stay focused and get our voters out on Election Day.  We need your help and together we can do this.  We got this!

Candidate's Corner

Statement from the Candidates

We are running for Borough Council in Collegeville.  We share some common views on what is important for our community.
  • We believe that we need to have a vision for our future as a community and we will work to define that vision and carry it out.
  • We believe that we have to make and carry out a plan to bring that vision to reality and create a future that is healthy, smart and attainable.
  • And we believe that we can help create solutions to the obstacles that stand in the way of reaching our vision.  We believe that we are part of the solution.
We are all on the ballot on November 5, 2019 because we love Collegeville and we are willing to take the time to make it a better place to live, work and play.  And we need your help!

We need you to get out and vote and get your friends to vote and your 18+ year old kids to vote.  We all have to do our part and participating in our democracy is what we are asking of all of our voters.

Your vote really does make a difference at the local level: some of our past Democratic candidates have lost elections by as few as 2-10 votes.

The General Election is Tuesday November 5th.
We need your support!  Together we can WIN!!

2019 Council Candidates
Mayor Aidsand F. Wright-Riggins

We have come a long way in just 20 months of service.  I’m proud of what we have accomplished.  But we still have a way to go before I will be truly satisfied.  In November, four of the seven Borough Council seats are up for election.  The distribution of influence and political energy towards a better Collegeville hangs on the results of the November election.  Democrats currently hold three safe seats held by Catherine Kernen, Shannon Spencer and Marion McKinney.  Collegeville needs the progressive voices and initiative that I see in council candidates Valarie Beckius, Cathy Costello, Craig Farr, and Gary Hoffman.  I pray that you join me in working to make sure they have a seat at the table come 2020.

Why?  Because Collegeville Matters.
