February 2021

We blinked and February was over! For our family, the first half of the month was marked with special times with friends and diving deeper into French... and the second half of the month was filled with battling some unknown virus (that was not Covid, the flu, strep, bronchitis, pneumonia, or any other host of common diagnosable viruses). We're finally on the mend (thank You, God!) and are thankful for how God sustained us.

Here's our February video update!
Up to date information, cute pictures, and more are available throughout the month on our website:
Here's how you can be praying for us in March:

- For perseverance, humility, and wisdom. Pray that we will work with all our might towards learning French. Pray, too, that we will know God's will in moving to Canada to continue our studies in person when (if) the borders open.
- For health. Pray that God will sustain us physically during this season.
- For spiritual growth. Pray that God will continue to grow and stretch us. Pray, too for Ruth, Clara, and Hudson's salvation.

Coming Up

We are looking forward to a good visit with Melissa's parents in mid-March. We are now at about the half-way point of our semester and our next set of big exams are the beginning of April. We're also super excited about celebrating Christ's resurrection with Brainerd North Georgia, our church here, in early April.

Ministry Update

Language learning continues to be our primary ministry focus right now as we enter month three of classes. But, as we're able to, we're enjoying having friends over to our house for dinner. We loved doing that in Alaska, and it feels so good to be able to do it again on a regular basis!

Togo Central Team

God continues to refine and mold the ministry focus for the Togo Central Team. As some doors open, others close. It's exciting to be watching things unfold from this side of the world, trusting that we'll be there in-person in about a year, too! Pray for our team leaders, Lee and Violette, to have wisdom in leading the Togo Central Team in Kara, Togo.
Praise God, we are fully funded! Any additional gifts and partnership will help increase our ministry funds, which allows us to do even more on the field.
