Passion - Action - Impact Workshop
High school and university students, as well as other interested community members, are invited to register for a free workshop designed to help participants learn how to turn their passions into effective community and political action.
The workshop will be held on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will take place at the Forest Grove campus of Pacific University. Registered participants will receive motivation and guidance from accomplished community activists, including

Registration is open for the League workshop, “Our Lives on the Web: Equity, Discourse and Propaganda,” on Oct. 19 in Eugene.

Special Guest at November Meeting

At our Nov. 11 meeting, we will be hearing from Steve Berger, Washington County Corrections Director and member of the Public Safety Coordinating Council.
Please note we'll meet at 3 p.m. instead of 1:30 p.m. and at Shute Park Library again.
Please read Kathleen Hersh's
article recounting the Council meeting she attended and why we should be interested in the Council and its work coordinating local criminal justice and juvenile justice policy.
