Census Training

Easy volunteer opportunity: Little of your time, big impact

U.S. Census data is used to make decisions around education, healthcare, infrastructure, and political representation.
With increased growth in the country, getting an accurate and complete count of every person living in Oregon is crucial to ensure our state receives funding to support our residents.
The Census Bureau is offering training that is open to League volunteers to learn how to help the general public answer the Census 2020 questionnaire. Once trained, you can sign up to help people at library-based resource centers around the state.
Three training sites and six training time slots in Washington County are available.
Registration is required to ensure everyone can be accommodated.
