Outstanding Voter Service for the Primary
We had over 13,000 people in Washington County use Vote411 leading up to the primary.  This is excellent!  It represents 31% of all the users in Oregon.  Multnomah County had about 4200, Clackamas County 5100 and Yamhill County had 900.  Good work promoting Vote411!
Print Voters’ Guides in both English and Spanish were distributed to food pantries via the Washington County Food Bank.  Thank you, Susan Mates for the idea and establishing the contact.  Penney Hoodenpyle distributed copies at the AAUW plant sale and at area laundromats.
I haven’t yet heard from TVCTV how many views our debate and Video Voters’ Guide interviews received. But I was much encouraged that the VVG interviews were available through Vote411. Let us build on this success for November!
People Not Politicians Campaign
This is an historic petition drive.  As far as I can tell a “distance” petition drive has never been attempted before.  An email was sent to you about the campaign. Remember to sign and return the petitions.  The sooner, the better.  Volunteers are helping with processing the petitions in Salem under covid restrictions.  The more that we can spread the processing time out, the better for all.  The petitions need to be presented to the Secretary of State by July 2nd.  If you have any questions about signature collecting, email Kathleen at
