Hi <<First Name>>,

We hope you're keeping well. The 2019 dive season is now upon us and we have lots planned over the summer months. So why not dust off your dive kit and take a look at what we have to offer.

See you soon.
Flat calm start to the season

We couldn't have asked for better conditions on our first day back on the water. The sun was shining and the water was a very pleasant 10 degrees, which for the time of year is very warm. Visibility varied on the day dependent on location, but we had reports of between 2 and 6 metres, which again for the end of March is quite promising.

Wreck weeks 2019

Each year we put on 2 wreck weeks where we plan a series of different dives. We pick the best tides possible. Each dive isn't set in stone, so if there is another day or dive you'd prefer please let us know. Providing tides and times allow we are pretty flexible.

We will also be adding a few different wreck dives throughout the season when we have some good tides. Keep an eye out on our special trips.

Private ceremony
<<First Name>>, We aren't sure if you knew him, but Adrian Staines (photo below in his very recognisable hood) tragically went missing off a dive boat out of Eastbourne at the end of October last year and his body was never recovered.  He was a great guy and such a character.  He is going to be sadly missed by many in the diving community, including ourselves of whom he was a frequent and loyal customer since we started in 2002. Our thoughts are with his family. RIP Adrian.

Please see below the email received and with permission asked to pass on.

Dear All,

We have chosen to have our own small private memorial ceremonies for
Adrian on 7th April, as this is the weekend nearest his birthday.

He always said he didn't want a formal funeral or other memorial service so we felt you all might like to take part in your own personal form of remembrance or ceremonies.

We also thought it would be nice if we all did our own things, in our own ways but on the same day. If you are looking to do something we would appreciate it if you kept the environment in mind and personally we will be going for eco-friendly non plastic things (Jen for example will be planting trees with a nature reserve local to her and we will be floating some flowers out to sea).

It really does not need to be formal or traditional or even obvious to others as long as its means something to you.

If you feel you would like to give a donation to charity in his name please consider the RNLI or the Marine Conservation Society.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, Caroline, Jen and Kathryn.

If you have any questions or requests please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to you diving with us soon.

Best regards Bryan, Martin and Patricia.
