Dear St George's Society Members and Friends,
Today on Remembrance Day, we honour and remember the brave men and women who have served through the horrors of war, and continue to serve in military and peace-keeping missions. We keep those who have fallen in our thoughts. We pay tribute to their courage and what their service has given us.
The The Royal Canadian Legion - National Headquarters is making it easy for us to take part in today’s National Remembrance Day Ceremony from the safety of our homes. You can stream the live ceremony from the Legion’s Facebook page - here. Click here to learn more.
Lest we forget.
"One way to commemorate Remembrance Day on November 11 is to experiment with recipes such as War Cake that were developed as a result of war-years rationing”
