Fellow St. Georgian's,

As you know, the St. George’s Society is Toronto’s oldest charity dedicated to improving the lives of Torontonians and celebrating the flourishing of British culture. Amidst the challenges of COVID, the St. George’s Society has supported various shelters and food banks while maintaining the warmth of our community’s ties. Given our inability to have physical events, the Society is looking to engage Torontonians through other means and to grow our network.

To this end, I would like to ask you to continue being a member of the St. George’s Society to strengthen our community.

In view of Covid-19, your Committee of Management is waving this year’s membership fees for 2020. We would, of course, welcome any donation you might like to make in support of St. George’s Charitable endeavours.

If you know anyone who would be interested in our Society as a member, please let me know ASAP by contacting and we will get them involved in our good works and British good humour!

Robert Baines,
President, St. George’s Society of Toronto
