Good Afternoon Members,

We hope you all had a fun, safe and relaxing Canada Day!  Thank you to all of our Members and Guests for coming to our monthly socials and events held to date. We are now taking a break for July so everyone can enjoy summer!

Julie will also be on holidays from July 2nd - July 5th.  She will return all emails and voicemails on Monday, July 8th.

We are in the  process of planning events to be held during Small Business Week (October 20-26) that we hope will bring together entrepreneurs (chamber members and future chamber members) through a series of different events. Our goal is to provide you with opportunities to learn, network, share ideas and socialize with your peers.  Stay tuned for more details!

This month, the Chamber would like to acknowledge Lindsey Lee from the Township of McNab/Braeside for volunteering at our annual golf tournament!  Thank you so much for all your help!
This year we are celebrating ontrac Arnprior’s 20th Anniversary, so we hope to make this event the best one yet! Angela Hoyt will deliver a keynote presentation on emotional intelligence and how that can give women “a leg up” in business. We are building a panel of government representatives and Chamber of Commerce members to answer your questions about business at a local, provincial, and federal level. Finally, back by popular demand, “Give and Get Networking” will be a main focus of our day and we will be working with local restaurants to develop an assortment of delicious food for breakfast and lunch!
Early Bird Registration is $20.00 and will run until August 16th (after August 16th, the registration fee is $30.00 non-refundable). We ask that you submit your payment when you register. You will find the Women In Business poster, agenda, and registration form attached. Please feel free to share the posters on your social media and with other Women in Business.
Over the past two years we have had several participants bring items to be raffled off at the end of the day to help promote their business. If you are interested in donating an item or a service for the day please contact Jennifer Armstrong ( or Chelsie Gordon (
