First of all: happy (belated) Pride Month! We hope you got a chance to celebrate in June and/or are gleefully taking part in activities in Amsterdam this week if you're part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and for everyone who's not: don't forget to be a good ally and smash some heteronormative views.
Second of all, this is the first edition brought to you by two new editors-in-chief: Anne de Vries and Susan Wichgers. We are looking forward to providing you with feminist articles every month! Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
This month, Jasmijn wrote about a surprising experience she had in a small town in Greece where she is currently living. After everything that happened in the Dutch talkshow Vandaag Inside, she considered herself lucky to be living abroad and not having to talk about the subject, but it somehow still came up. Lisa put together a piece about the fashion industry and body positivity. Are fashion brands doing enough to be inclusive? Spoiler alert: no, but luckily there are some signs of improvement.
Last but not least, Jeroen wrote a poem (in Dutch this time) about the beauty of unapologetically being yourself.
Have a nice summer, and remember: every body is a bikini body.
Until next month!
With feminist regards,
Alessandra, Anne and Susan
