Pathways for Students Impacted by the War in Ukraine

There is updated funding and pathways information available for undergraduate students and graduate students affected by the war in Ukraine. If you receive questions from Ukrainian students or international students who had been studying in Ukraine, please refer them to the appropriate web page.

Wellness in Practice Series

The Minds Redefined Team invites all A&S staff, faculty, graduate students and postdocs to participate in a weekly social activity to promote community, connection and wellness. Register for August’s activities:

Course Readings: Syllabus Service for Fall 2022

The Syllabus Service assists faculty and staff at the University of Toronto to make course readings available to students in a manner that respects Canadian copyright law and existing U of T licensing agreements and policies. Library staff will retrieve, scan and provide links to material, as well as acquire eBooks suitable for course use whenever available. Instructors are encouraged to submit course reading lists by the priority service date of August 5, 2022.

CIHR Summer 2022 Project Grant Writing Workshops & Peer Review Session

This series is for research faculty who are eligible to apply for CIHR Project Grant funding, led by Professor Jennifer Mitchell of the Department of Cell & Systems Biology — a multiple CIHR project grantee and Peer Review Committee Member — who will be joined by guest grantees and committee members.

Call for Applications: Graduate Multidisciplinary Urban Project

Graduate students from across U of T’s three campuses are encouraged to apply for the Graduate Multidisciplinary Urban Project. Participants will work in multidisciplinary teams, using their learned perspectives to review problems and find innovative solutions.

Deadline: August 1, 2022

Arts & Science SSHRC Insight Grant Workshop

The Arts & Science Research Services Office is hosting a workshop for faculty members applying for the 2022 Insight Grant competition. This session will focus on crafting key sections of the SSHRC Insight Grant including the detailed description, student training and knowledge mobilization. It will offer faculty members the opportunity to ask funded research officers questions pertinent to their applications.
