There are a lot of questions and confusion surrounding the bill recently passed in Illinois. We recommend reading more about the bill in this article by NBC Chicago and The Guardian. We also had a wonderful presentation about the bill during the Indivisible Illinois meeting and we highly recommend watching the recording HERE.

The Local Elections will be held on Tuesday, April 6. Ballots will be mailed out starting February 25th for anyone who has applied.
Call Your State Representatives to Ensure We Keep Expanded Vote by Mail
Concerns about Covid resulted in rule changes for the November election to improve access to voting by mail.
Legislation is currently being debated in Springfield to ensure those changes are permanent and enhanced.
