Earlier this year community members took part in a University College Cork study on Older Gay Men in Cork. The research was carried out by UCC occupational therapy 4th year student Joy Kelleher and supervised by Professor Jeanne Jackson as part of a Community Academic Research Partnership with Gay Project. This study highlighted that older gay men in Cork are optimistic about ageing and that Cork is a positive place for LGBT community when it comes to getting older.
