COVID - 19 Weekly Update

Dear Friends,

We hope everyone is keeping well and managing through the present circumstances.

This week staff are continuing to work remotely, utilising new and innovative ways of continuing services and supporting our community through online and virtual spaces. This new normal we are experiencing is a huge learning curve for us all and we'd love to hear from our community about how you are maintaining social connections in this time of physical social distancing or tips you have on how we all look after and support ourselves and others.
email us on info@gayproject.ie.

March 31st was Transgender Day of Visibility where we celebrate and bring attention to the accomplishments of Trans people everywhere.
Physical distancing is essential to combat COVID-19, but it means the things men typically rely on to connect have been lost – but just five minutes to touch base with a mate who’s struggling could make a massive difference to their mental health.
Lets take the Movember
Five-a-Day Challenge!!

The challenge is simple: Make a commitment to spend at least five minutes a day checking in with a bloke who might be struggling. Send a text to see how they’re coping with isolation, FaceTime to see what they’ve been doing to keep busy or have a chat on the phone about what’s for dinner. Make a commitment to spend at least five minutes a day checking in with a friend.
We’re all in this together. Make the call!
