Well wishes on exams from your Faculty Advisers!
We're changing it up a little this week, Firsties...let's test how well you think you know your First College staff!

This week's newsletter contains a special playlist compiled of favorites from each of our First College staff. As you listen to the playlist, try to guess which songs belong to which staff member.

You will still need to put on your detective hat to find the live link somewhere in the newsletter to a VERY short quiz matching a song with a staff member.  Be sure to submit your answers by Thursday, Dec. 3 @5pmEDT. The student with the most correct answers will win this week's PRIZE of a Sony Portable Bluetooth Speaker!

Congrats to Kayla Memis '22 on winning last week's trivia contest!

Princeton University Honored as New Jersey Recycling Leader

The Association of New Jersey Recyclers and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection recognized Princeton University during a ceremony on November 19, 2020. Twyla Seward (pictured), Director of Building Services, represented Princeton at the virtual event.

The University recycles numerous materials including glass bottles, plastic containers, aluminum cans, paper, corrugated cardboard, metal, food waste, wooden pallets, mattresses, textiles, tires, construction and demolition debris. We also have a comprehensive reuse program for computers, furniture, office supplies, books, and items left behind after students depart at the end of each academic year.

“The University’s recycling achievements have been the result of the collaborative planning and hard work of the Building Services and Office of Sustainability teams,” said Seward. “I thank them all for their labor and striving to improve the environment for our future generations. I am honored to accept this award on behalf of the University. It is truly a team effort,” said Twyla Seward, Director of Building Services.
