Hello Co-Op Community! 

We are THRILLED to announce some major updates! Our movement studio has been reopened, we have some new Market & Coffee Shop hours, and even our first event this summer is coming up! Keep reading for all the details below! 
Friday, July 17th from 5 pm-8 pm we are doing an Art Walk! We will be featuring local artists, vendors, food, and fun for the neighborhood!

One of our featured artists is Danny Johnson, owner of Happy Little Clouds Art, who was taught by Bob Ross himself and lives every day trying to inspire like Bob Ross! Come meet Danny and our other wonderful artists! We will have 10-15 outdoor booths filled with local artists and goodies. Food and refreshments west side and art walk on the east side of the coop at 1st. Simply Sophie will also be hosting a planting party at this event as well! The indoor market will be open  with local farm fresh products!

Vendors Include: Happy lil Clouds Art, JDritto Creations, Duendes Tejidos, Nurture the seed crystal creations, ClayLove, Maru Agua y Luna - Psychic, Simply Sophie and Sasa Ceramics, Simply Sophie, Botanical Touch, Fugster Co, and Colorado Medicine Woman.

The Movement Space has Reopened!
Check the link below to see the class schedule! We are taking extra precautions to make sure the space is cleaned between every class. Please do not attend classes if you have any COVID symptoms (listed below).

Coffee Shop Reopened & New Market Hours!

The Market and Coffee shop have new hours! Monday-Saturday 8:00 am-8:00pm. We ask that you wear a mask while you are in the market and follow social distancing practices. If you currently have any needs from the Market but are reluctant to leave your house, please email Katrina at She can set you up with a contactless pick-up or delivery order on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays! The Market also accepts SNAP and Double Bucks. We are able to take that over the phone if you would like to do contactless pick-up/deliveries!

Raffle At the Market!

Sophia from Simply Sophie is doing a raffle every month (We draw the next winner 8/1); Every $10 spent on Simply Sophie in the Market is an entry, but also bags of clean fabric (solid color sheets, solid color or plaid men's cotton button-up shirts, cotton t-shirts with no side seam) are an entry! Congrats to July's winner Alex! 


Ghee from Maia Foods are in stock and come in 4 flavors! Pick up some Original Ghee priced at $6 and flavored at $6.50! 

Grab a Marion’s Ranch whole chickens here at the market for $25 each! Alpaca Beans/Fertilizer is also available for $15 each or 2 for $20!

Emergency Food Program Update: 

We are excited to announce that we have handed out almost 10,000 meals to families in need since the start of COVID-19. These meals are USDA nutritious meals that we are handing out to children in the neighborhood. There are also produce boxes that can be picked up by families/adults. We will be running this program until August 14th. 

Child Meal Pick-Up: Mon-Fri 9:00-1:00 (or until we run out of meals) 
Produce Box Pick-Up: Wed-Fri 9:00-1:00

Volunteering for the Food Program: 

Volunteering for our Emergency Food Program is a great way to get through this time, get out of the house, and help your community. We are always accepting new volunteers. However, we ask that if you have ANY symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19 that you stay home. We also ask if you live or are in contact with any high-risk individuals that you stay home. We appreciate your willingness to help but we will have more volunteer opportunities throughout the year. You can also help by donating on our website.

Thank you to all of our amazing garden volunteers helping out with our gardens all over Lakewood and the Denver Metro Area! We have been hard at work getting our Jovial Gardens ready for the upcoming season to feed even more hungry families in our community. All of your work is much appreciated!!! 

We ask during this time if you have any symptoms to please refrain from visiting The Co-Op Market, Classes, Events, or Volunteering. You are welcomed to send a friend/family member to pick up food from our emergency food program or curbside grocery pick up from The Market.
