<<First Name>>, thank you if you were able to attend our meeting today at Haven hotel to discuss progress on Haven campaign.
70-80 were at the meeting - fantastic turn-out. Shows both the strength of feeling and how many people care.
For those not able to attend, it was a lively discussion with lots of helpful comments and ideas.
We outlined the current Haven campaign strategy and progress to date. A hand-out was provided which can be found here summarising the campaign so far, key issues and next steps.
Still a long way to go. We continue to push forward a number of legal and technical challenges to the application. With well over 3000 documents and objections registered already, this won't be decided quickly. More likely well into next year.
I remain firmly of the belief that if we continue to pull together and show our fighting spirit - as we have so far - our community can succeed in this key battle for the heart & soul of Sandbanks.
