Awesome SA[u]CE.

Add that special ingredient to your New College experience with a dose of SA[u]CE!

Short for Student Activities and Campus Engagement, this office (located in HCL 4) is every Novo’s connection to clubs, organizations, campus events, volunteerism and community resources. It is filled with outgoing, caring staff members who help enrich the lives of students (and treat them like family).

“Engaging through student activities is personally rewarding and provides opportunities to meet other students, develop relationships, promote change on campus and explore new interests,” the SA[u]Ce staff says.

Director Danielle “Dani” McCalla, Assistant Directors Jada McNeill and Lesley Nickels, Office Manager Lisa Bolduc, and multiple Student Event Team (SET) members comprise SA[u]CE. They help create and promote exciting programming on campus, and act as “listening ears” for students who just want to pop into the office and vent.

Reach out and get to know them! And spice up your college life.

Come As You Are, Novos.

Making you feel at home is our priority at New College. Here, you can be you!

We are constantly increasing our diversity and inclusion resources to make our Novos feel a strong sense of belonging.

As our mission statement says, “When individuals of all religions, all races, all ethnicities, all abilities, all gender expressions, all sexual orientations, all political and economic backgrounds, and every heritage feel welcome, and free to contribute, then we realize our vision.”

We have tons of student groups—from the Black Student Union and Queery to the Catholic Club, Hillel and New Life—that provide welcoming and supportive opportunities to socialize and connect. Check out all the vibrant programming that our students, faculty and staff have created at ncf.edu/diversity-inclusion.
