June 2020 Newsletter

A Letter from your 2nd Vice Regent:

Hello!
It's June already! I really can't believe that. It seems like there was snow on the ground just yesterday. This morning I was working in my garden, rearranging irises and replanting bleeding hearts. Things have been busy and beautiful here in Vermont! I hope you can say the same from wherever you're sitting right now.
This month's newsletter includes a spotlight from a very special member who recently passed. Although I never met Leatrice, she sounds like she was a wonderful woman who loved her family and the DAR dearly.
Please make sure to read the entirety of this newsletter! You'll find some really exciting (and important) information about our virtual Flag Day Luncheon! I, for one, am very excited to be able to attend this year!
Stay well,
-Katie West, 2nd Vice Regent
