Welcome to Voces Unidas de las Montañas and the first edition of Nuestras Voces, our monthly newsletter where we will share our stories and update you on our work and campaigns.
Thank you for being part of the first Latino-led, Latino-serving organization in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys. At Voces Unidas, we believe that Latinas and Latinos need to be at every decision-making table where our issues, our communities and our futures are being discussed and debated. We know what we want and need, and are more than capable of speaking for ourselves and advocating for our interests.
To be a thriving and equitable tri-county region, all towns, cities, counties and community institutions must be inclusive of the voices, talents and aspirations of the more than 30,000 Latinos who call Garfield, Eagle and Pitkin counties home.
We look forward to sharing more about our leadership, advocacy and civic engagement work through this newsletter, on our website and via our social media accounts.
