Happy Holidays <<First Name>>,

I can’t believe 2018 is nearly over. It's been quite a year - I’ve worked on 21 projects for 16 non-profits across 4 states, hosted several trainings, and started this monthly newsletter among other things. And my wife and I have continued to put down roots in Colorado (or dig up roots, depending on how you think about all of the landscaping we’ve been doing).

The holidays are a great reminder about the importance of community, friendship, and family – things that all too easily go by the wayside when the busy-ness of adult living rears its ugly head. In this holiday season, I hope you get to spend some quality time with the people that give you joy. Melissa and I will be spending part of our holiday season with family in California, and will be offline from Dec 22nd through Jan 1st. Catch you on the other side!

One more thing – I’m working with my friends David, Lydia, and Matt to bring internationally-known data visualization expert Alberto Cairo to Denver on January 24th. We’re envisioning a community-powered learning experience for anybody who wants to get better at telling stories with data. Click here to learn more and help us make this a reality.

100 YEARS A NEIGHBOR, AND 100 MORE

Since 1918, one of my clients, the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) has been the safety net for families in need in Boulder County. Throughout their 100-year history, EFAA has helped tens of thousands of families get back on their feet, and has enjoyed the support of thousands of donors and dedicated volunteers.
Congratulations team EFAA – I’m wishing you another successful 100 years!

Let's Catch Up!

If you have an idea for how I can help your organization have a successful 2019, I’d love to talk. Coffee or tea on me!

Thanks!

Paul
