The New Year is off to a fast start here at Paul Collier Consulting! I took some time away from screens over the holidays to reflect on business and life, and I’ll look to share my annual accountability report with you all soon.
In the meantime, I’m facilitating a couple of trainings in the Denver area in the next few weeks, and would love to see you at one of them. On January 29, I will be presenting to the Colorado Nonprofit Association entitled “Tending to Your Technology Garden”. Then on January 31, I will be giving a training session on Maximizing Your Nonprofit’s Existing Data Assets at the Nonprofit Learning Lab Institute in Denver.
Last but not least, I wanted to share a few timely resources I came across in the past month:
While our federal government's budget woes are all over the news, funding from state and local government is probably more crucial to your non-profit's financial success. Learn how to effectively approach your local policymakers in this toolkit.
A great educator and engaging storyteller, Alberto is widely acknowledged as a preeminent data journalist and scholar. Denver Data Storytellers is hosting Alberto's visit to Denver as part of his citizen data literacy lecture tour. No cost to attend - Register now to learn more about how to fight against fake data and misleading information!
How can I help?
If you have an idea for how I can help your organization have a successful 2019, I’d love to talk. As always, coffee or tea on me!
