
Presentation of Mary surpasses Campaign goal!
Congratulations to Fr. Fredy B. Rosales from Presentation of Mary in Los Angeles for not only reaching his goal of $260,000 but surpassing it within two weeks of beginning his fundraising! To date, Fr. Freddy has raised $341,700, which is 131% of his Campaign goal. Fr. Fredy is still scheduling visits for upcoming weeks and plans on securing more pledges for his parish. Campaign funds will go towards repairs for the parish’s exterior plaza and expanding the church parking lot. Thank you Fr. Fredy for your hard work and setting a fantastic example!
St. Joan of Arc receives a $100,000 pledge!
Congratulations to Fr. Joseph Quan Nguyen at St. Joan of Arc in Los Angeles for receiving a pledge for $100,000! Fr. Joseph’s hard work in meeting with families has been paying off, as he has already raised $180,000, which is over 25% of his $680,000 Campaign goal! His work ethic and dedication to his parish are truly inspiring--keep up the great work!
San Miguel receives campaign funding for urgent repairs!
Fr. Jose Valdez and Fr. Oscar Esquivel from San Miguel in Los Angeles have received deferred maintenance funding from the Called to Renew Campaign to begin urgent renovations to their church roof. This act of generosity motivated Fr. Jose and Fr. Oscar to make the Campaign a priority for the parish and began visiting parishioners before the Wave 3 Kick-Off on February 3. To date, Fr. Jose and Fr. Oscar have raised 17% of their $145,000 campaign goal with only 5 pledges. We look forward to their continued success as they continue scheduling personal visits with their lay leaders at San Miguel!
St. Thomas Aquinas receives a pledge for $100,000!
Congratulations to Fr. John Kyebasuuta from St. Thomas Aquinas in Monterey Park for receiving a pledge for $100,000. Fr. John has started his Campaign on the right foot with back-to-back personal visits in order to achieve his $455,000 Campaign goal. Half of his goal will be used to improve energy efficiency at the parish, to enhance faith formation programs, and for facility renovations that will maintain the parish for future generations.
