Congratulations to the Ten Percenters!

Nine parishes raised more than ten percent of their campaign targets this week! These parishes are on track to reach 80 percent of goal before Commitment Weekend if they have not done so already. In the Pilot Wave, this was a good indicator of success.

In the coming week, work with your parish campaign director to establish activity benchmarks that will help your parish see increases like the parishes below:

Mission San Buenaventura receives two $250,000 gifts and surpasses goal!

Congratulations to Fr. Tom Elewaut and the Campaign Executive Committee at Mission San Buenaventura for exceeding their campaign goal this week! The Mission reached 103% of its goal from just 24 gifts. Parishioners have responded generously (with an average gift of $28,246) and are motivated to keep their success going in the coming weeks.

St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Los Angeles exceeds it's parish goal!

Deacon Jim Carper and the committee at St. Bernadette are celebrating surpassing their standard goal before announcing the campaign to the parish! The parish is also more than 50% towards it's enhanced goal and very excited to share the good news of Called to Renew in the coming weeks. St. Bernadette is the fourth parish to achieve its goal in the Wave 1.

Our Lady of Guadalupe in Rose Hill ambassadors start visitation!

Our Lady of Guadalupe in Rose Hill has crossed the 30% benchmark having raised $89,600 from 11 pledges. Fr. Nelson and Dcn. Brandlin are great Called to Renew advocates and are excited to announce the campaign to the parish in the coming weeks. Until then, the parish ambassadors will start their meetings next week. Between parish leadership and this committee, every parishioner will have an opportunity to join the campaign and make a gift!

St. Mary in Palmdale distributes materials to engage 150 new families in the campaign!

With a large parish community and the largest campaign goal of all Wave 1 parishes, Father Vaughn Winters is grateful for the support of the forty campaign volunteers who have joined his team. This week, the parish conducted it's Visitation Training and distributed materials for more than 150 families. With so many people helping Father share the Case for Support, we look forward to celebrating great success in the coming weeks.

St. Didacus in Sylmar raises $92,000!

Congratulations to Father Bob Garon for raising $92,000 this week through personal visits! St. Didacus has received 23 gifts to their parish for a total raised of $295,000. With their funds from Called to Renew, the parishioners of St. Didacus are extremely excited to begin working on renovating the church bathrooms among other special projects. We are grateful for the early generosity of these parishioners and look forward to celebrating the success of the campaign ambassadors as they embark on their first visits in the coming weeks!
Campaign Progress Updates

The Called to Renew Campaign is experiencing great success! These numbers are updated as of 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1.

To date, the overall campaign has raised $243,054,274Listed below is the progress of our Pilot and Wave 1 Parish campaigns.

The goal of the campaign is to receive a decision from every Catholic household in the Archdiocese. To make this process as easy as possible, please remember to schedule a follow-up visit at the end of your initial meeting. This will create a sense of urgency in receiving the decision and importance to the gift. Also, it will limit the number of additional phone calls our ambassadors need to make.

A simple solution is to schedule the follow-up meeting the next week -- on the same day, at the same time as the initial meeting. If the prospective donor needs to cancel this meeting, that is fine. In order to cancel, they must call the ambassador and a rescheduled date can be decided at the same time!
