Happy Easter!

Wishing you and your families a Blessed Holy Week and a joy filled Easter Season.

May the Risen Lord bring us peace and unity.
May He bless our work of ministry and renew each one of us
so we can become the agents of renewal
for all the people of our Archdiocese.

San Antonio de Padua reaches 111% of their campaign goal!

The Campaign Executive Committee (CEC) at San Antonio de Padua in Boyle Heights continues to invite fellow parishioners to participate in the Called to Renew Campaign in preparation of their Commitment Weekend. The group is enthusiastic about the renovations that will take place at their parish, and they are motivated to work with Fr. Gustavo Joaquin Ramon to raise money for additional projects they have in their pipeline. They have now raised $99,900 from 52 gifts, which is 111% of their goal of $90,000. Congratulations to Fr. Gustavo and his dedicated Campaign team for keeping up the momentum!

Restorative Easter Promise

As we reflect on the end of the Lenten season, we joyfully affirm the promise of our faith. Easter is a time of rebirth and a time of renewal. We ask all of you to keep Called to Renew in your hearts, as we recommit to the Campaign's mission to revitalize our Church. When praying, consider the words of Pope Francis:

“I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day. . . Now is the time to say to Jesus: ‘Lord, I have let myself be deceived; in a thousand ways I have shunned your love, yet here I am once more, to renew my covenant with you. I need you. Save me once again, Lord, take me once more into your redeeming embrace’".
