With more than 250 parishes still waiting to participate in Called to Renew, we are looking to expand our passionate and hard-working team.

Assumption Church in Boyle Heights raises 115% of goal!
Congratulations to Fr. Arturo Lopez and Fr. Javier Alvarez at Assumption Church in Boyle Heights for raising a total of $236,732! During their second Commitment Weekend alone, Fr. Arturo and Fr. Javier brought in $26,300 or 13% of their overall goal. Assumption will close the Campaign with a total of $236,732 from 127 gifts for 115% of goal. Assumption Church plans to use their Called to Renew funds to renovate the restrooms, upgrade the kitchen, and install an HVAC system in the church hall. Congratulations again on your success!

St. Cecilia reaches 98% of goal!  
Congratulations to Fr. Roman Arzate from St. Cecilia in Los Angeles for raising 98% of his $555,000 parish goal! The parish has now raised $545,790 from 407 gifts. Fr. Roman will be going into his second Commitment Weekend this Sunday. Campaign funds will be used to renovate the Lombard Romanesque church roofing to match the original style that was built in the late 1920s. We look forward to another successful Commitment Weekend at St.Cecilia! 

St. Mary in Palmdale heads into Commitment Weekend!
Fr. Vaughn Winters is gearing up for St. Mary’s first Commitment Weekend! Fr. Vaughn will celebrate all eight Masses this weekend and make the Commitment Weekend presentation immediately following the homily. Over the past month, Fr. Vaughn has hosted Commitment Weekend  at St. Mary’s nearby missions, which have jointly raised over $128,000! St. Mary has raised a total of $889,737 from 248 gifts. Good luck, Fr. Vaughn!
 
Holy Family in Artesia shows gratitude!

On Tuesday night, Fr. John Cordero at Holy Family in Artesia thanked his Campaign Executive Committee and Campaign Ambassadors during their final volunteer meeting. This loyal group of parishioners was instrumental in Holy Family raising $1,433,450 to date. Holy Family will host its first Commitment Weekend this coming weekend. The parish is at 123% of its parish goal and 93% of its enhanced goal. Fr. John is excited to share Called to Renew with his entire congregation!

Sacred Heart raises 60% of goal on Commitment Weekend!
Congratulations to Fr. Alberto Arreola and the dedicated Campaign Executive Committee at Sacred Heart in Pomona for their tremendous Commitment Weekend, raising more than $500,000! Parishioners were moved to support the parish’s efforts to expand their parking lot. Many thanks to the CEC and pastoral team for their hard work serving as ambassadors for Called to Renew. They have now raised more than $1,300,000 of their $900,000 goal and are excited to start work on their parking lot and restore their spiritual home.
