Be enthusiastic! Be cheerful! Be confident!

We are grateful for the many campaign volunteers who have commenced their own personal visitations. One of the most important parts of any meeting is preparation. Before you go out into the community to invite their participation, say a prayer and remember to be enthusiastic, cheerful, and confident!

The best way to feel confident in your visitations is to know the campaign. Make sure that you read over your Visitation Guide and your parish-specific brochure.

Called to Renew is designed to unite the Archdiocese through stewardship. Clearly and effectively conveying this message will allow you to have more productive meetings.

Please remember to bring any questions that you cannot answer to your campaign report meetings.

Thank you for all you do!

St. Sebastian raisies $23,300 this week!

Congratulations to St. Sebastian Church in Santa Paula for raising $313,200 from 32 gifts. This is 78% of their campaign goal! A special thank you to their Campaign Executive Committee who have enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to meet fellow parishioners and invited them to join in their efforts. Fr. Pasquale Vuoso will be using the funds from the campaign to build a eucharistic adoration chapel, enhance the parish's worship space, refurbish the parish center and hall, re-surface the parking lot, and improve the parish grounds by installing a fountain on the patio and a wrought iron fence gate and lighting.

St. Thomas More celebrates its most successful fundraising week to date!

This week, Fr. Thai Le at St. Thomas More in Alhambra raised $27,400. Nearly all of these pledges came from the activity of the Campaign Executive Committee and Ambassadors who are working hard to raise money. The parish is now at 24% of their goal. At this week’s campaign meeting, Fr. Thai discussed the location of where the new wheelchair ramps will be placed and answered questions about its design and contractor selection process.

Holy Family in Artesia raises $150,000+ this week!

Congratulations to Holy Family in Artesia for collecting 15 new pledges totaling $166,500! Fr. John Cordero received seven commitments from his lead gift efforts, and the Campaign Ambassadors worked hard to bring in eight pledges from their personal visits. The parish's planning committee met this past week to discuss how Called to Renew funds will be used and how to generate excitement within the parish for these special projects. Keep up the great work!

Our Lady of Guadalupe (Rose Hill) surpasses the 50% benchmark!

Rose Hill raised $42,000 this week, bringing their total to $137,600 overall. From just 20 pledges, the parish has achieved 52% of the goal. Fr. Nelson and Dcn. Tom Brandlin are grateful for the generosity parishioners have shown the parish. Committee Chair, Elena Ching, has been instrumental in preparing the committee to meet with parishioners and spreading the good news about the campaign to the rest of the parish.

Knowledge is power!
Called to Renew is dedicated to reaching out to as many people in the parish as possible. Often times, the phone numbers we have on record are outdated. We know that calling wrong or disconnected numbers can be frustrating, so make sure that you notify your Campaign Director if this happens.
Here are some ways to get ahold of correct phone numbers:
- Call your parish office to see if alternate contact information is available
- Search using names and addresses
- Ask your Campaign Director for assistance
This will allow you to have the most success when scheduling visits.
