Welcome back

The last few months have been an unsettling time for everyone. It has affected businesses in many different ways. March saw 95% of our sites put on hold but after a month we gradually increased capacity as sites reopened. Since re-opening we have been working at full capacity and have employed nearly 40 new members of staff. We are Covid-19 compliant and employee and customers safety remains our priority.

Awards Finalists

Lowfield Timber Frames are thrilled to have been shortlisted for this years Structural Timber Awards. LTF are finalists in the Social Housing category for the Marstons Hub project.

Marstons Hub is a new £1.2 million facility for young people, set within the historic market town of Ludlow, in South Shropshire. The development comprises of 11 new build homes, 13 refurbished homes within the mill, a commercial workspace, and a community café space.

Home Grown Homes project Sarn, Powys.

We have an exciting project happening local to our head quarters, it is our first site which uses Welsh home grown timber. The development is made up of four two-bedroom bungalows, two two-bedroom and one three-bedroom house and has been designed to Passivhaus certifications standards – the most energy efficient certification possible. The project is a collaboration between Lowfields, Pave Aways, Woodknowledge Wales and Powys County Council. We look forward to seeing the site progress further.

We have been making great progress on site at Bilston Urban Village for Countryside properties. Starting on site in August 2019, we have supplied and erected 203 houses, and a block of 24 apartments, which is a fantastic achievement considering the site was closed for 9 weeks due Covid-19 lockdown. We are looking forward to the site progressing further, and continuing work on other Countryside developments.

We've been busy working on many projects over the last few months, including;

- Extra care unit in Aberystwyth for Anwyl Group which comprises of 56 Apartments
- 63 bed hotel in Witney and a 78 bed hotel in Workington for Hinton Group
- Luxury dwellings for SJ Roberts Homes
- Multiple residential sites for Countryside
- Numerous one off builds including self build homes and bespoke garages.
