Dear Members and Devotees,
Vinakayar is known as the God of wealth, wisdom, and prosperity. During the weekly pathway cleaning to Lord Murugan Statue, our CMT Volunteers found a Suyambu Vinayakar (Naturally formed stone with the face of Lord Vinayakar / Ganesa) buried under a tree. We shared the pictures of the Lord Vinayakar with our members, and other social media groups of Carolina Murugan Temple leadership and devotees are excited with this news. With the blessings of Lord Vinayakar, we hope to generate additional funds to start Phase I construction soon.
This month we are conducting our Kandha Shasti event virtually and also in-person. Famous spiritual singers and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar team agreed to participate and contribute to this special event.
Planning and executing events during this time is extremely difficult, time-consuming, and needs a lot of coordination between members, volunteers, and guests from India. Thanks to all the volunteers and supporters who are working tirelessly to make this event successful. Please share this newsletter with all your friends and family in North America and other countries. Also, invite them personally to participate in this virtual event.
