AMORE ROCK (6) was a winner two starts back when he defeated MAJOR MAD by a massive 15.5 metres. He looks hard to beat tonight.
ROCKING WITH CHARM (4) should be able to lead early.
SUTTER MAN (1) and BIEN HOA (3) are also chances.
Race 2: THE GLOBE BAR & GAMING TROTTERS MOBILE
SUPER ANGUS (3) is a great beginner from the mobile start. He should be able to burn across and find the front. If he leads he will be very hard to run down.
ILLAWONG MOONBEAM (1) will run a strong race from the inside draw.
OUR SPITFIRE (5) and GREAT FANTASY (6) are also chances.
Race 3: TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE
DOUBLE O HEAVEN (6) just keeps finding ways to win at the moment. She has won her last three starts and looks like a massive threat again tonight.
RUDI SANDEL (9) has been racing consistently since returning from a spell. He looks dangerous tonight.
SIR ROMAN (5) and IM JIMMY JAMES (2) are also chances.
Race 4: AUSTRALIAN DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP SEPTEMBER 17 PACE
AMERICAN BEAUTY (2) ran second in a trial behind SIR ROMAN a few weeks back. If she brings her best run she should be too good for this field.
MIDNIGHT SPORT (5), TWIN CONNECTION (1) and PASSIONATE PURSUIT (6) look the next best.
Race 5: JOHN ROTHE VIDEO PACE
BETTOR BEONTOIT (1) should be able to hold the lead from gate one. He runs his best races out in front and will be hard to beat.
THUMBS UP (6) was a big winner last start defeating COME ON SLOOPY by 4.5 metres.
WEEROONA BOY (4) and STEINMAN (5) are also chances.
Race 6: HYGAIN TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY
MILLYS MAGIC (6) was buried three back along the pegs last start. Her win the start before that was good. If she is driven into a good position tonight she is going to be a major threat.
CHAMPAGNE PRINCE (5), SCRUFFY DOOLAN (3) and LORD CHANCELLOR (2) are also chances.
Race 7: ECO-WISE PLUMBING GROUP PACE
LOU LOU QUICK (3) has won three of her last four starts. She is racing in excellent form and will be hard to beat tonight.
TICK TOCK GO (1) will appreciate the inside draw and will run a strong race from that position.

WAITPINGA HERITAGE (2) beat home the older horses at his one and only trial appearance. If he can repeat that trial run he will be too good for this field.
MISTER CHEESE (5), BILLY ROCKS (6) and I RUNFORMUM (4) look the next best.
Race 2: F&D AZZURRO EARTHWORKS PACE
SECRET JACK (6) was a classy winner last start when he defeated WHITESTARCHRISTIAN by 4.9 metres. He is a major chance again today.
HESEVERSOCLEVER (1) will run a strong race from the inside draw.
STAR WRITER (2) and WHITESTARCHRISTIAN (3) are also chances.
Race 3: HOPKINS SADDLERY PACE
GIFTEDFROMTHEHEART (5) was beaten a half neck behind MIDNIGHT SPORT last start after facing the breeze. He has been racing very consistently recently. He looks like a major chance against this field.
SHELDON (4), MANOEUVER MAN (6) and FUMIA REACTOR (3) are also chances.
Race 4: MITAVITE STUDGRO PACE
SUNFINE (1) has won two of his last five starts. He was a winner two starts back when he defeated IM LADY MADELEINE by 3.1 metres. He will appreciate the inside draw.
IM REGGIE (2) was a last start winner when he defeated ACES SHADOW by 7.5 metres.
NYKEA COURAGE (5) and TUSCAN STAR (3) look the next best.
Race 5: HYGAIN REGAIN TROTTERS HANDICAP
HESANAVENGER (2) ran third behind MY BAD HABITS last start. This is his first start from the stand start. He looks like a chance against this field.
PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN (8), GREAT FANTASY (9) and QUICK QUAKER (4) are also chances.
Race 6: FLY LIKE AN EAGLE PACE
BOSS MAJOR (2) ran a promising race behind MAJOR LINCOLN last start after facing the breeze. Today’s race looks easier for him. If he can repeat that run he will be a major chance.
ABSTRACT ART (6) also steps down in class and is worth considering.
LONGTAN CASSANOVA (3) and COME ON SLOOPY (1) are also chances.

LIEUTENANT JACK (3) should be able to find the lead early. He has led and has been run down his last two starts. He is a strong chance today.
CELESTIAL ZODIAC (4) should be around the mark against this field.

Trainers are alerted to the appointment of James Short as an Assistant Starter. James continues his training for this important role.
An aspect of this role which will receive greater scruntiny of the gear in which horses are presented to race.
Trainers are reminded of the relevant Rules relating to gear and the presentation of horses to race. Where the gear is incorrect without an adequate reason, consequences will result.
HR 273. (1) A person shall not use or permit the use of unapproved gear except with the permission of the Chairman of Stewards.
(2) A person shall not present to start or start a horse in a race in gear which in the opinion of the Stewards is:-
(a) Incorrectly fitted
(c) Of inferior quality
(d) In poor order or condition
(e) Of insufficient strength and quality to cope with the stresses likely to be imposed on it in a race.
(3) A person shall not without the permission of the Stewards start a horse in a race unless the horse is fitted with a false belly band and retaining straps and throat lash and a breast plate.
(4) A person shall not start a horse in a race fitted with any equipment or gear that covers and/or protrudes past the nostrils of the horse.
(5) A person shall not without the approval of the Stewards change the registered gear of a horse.
(6) A person shall not present to start or start in a race a horse that is:-
(a) not wearing the correct number;
(b) not wearing the gear that has been approved by the Stewards for that horse.
At a recent race meeting it was noted that post-race a horse was presented to the Swabbing Attendant in full (race) headgear and with a set of hopples draped over the body.
Trainers are advised that horses are required to be provided to the Swabbing Attendants fitted ONLY with a headcollar and a restraining device with the lead attached.
The Swabbing Attendants have been directed to refer Trainers not complying with the protocol to the Stewards.
