Race 1: PORT PIRIE VALE MICK BARRETT PACE
 RHYTHMATIC (1) returned to the winners list last start when he defeated MALACHITE ROCK by a neck. He has won three of his last five starts and has been in tremendous form this preparation. He looks hard to beat from the inside draw.
WEMEN BELLA (7) should get a handy run through from the second row.
WHATISAYGOES (4) and FIGHTING FIRE (6) are also chances.
Race 2:  PORT PIRIE VALE LYNN HOBBS PACE
BELLA SOFIA (8) has been running in good form recently at Globe Derby. She has won two of her last four. If she can bring her best run against this field, she will be a major chance.
IM THE MIGHTY JUDD (3) was a last start winner when he defeated MALACHITE ROCK.
BIEN HOA (5) and SUTTER MAN (7) are also chances.
Race 3: PORT PIRIE GLENYS & JOHN TEE MEMORIAL
BLOSSOM DELIGHT (1) has been knocking on the door for a win since returning from a spell. She gets the benefit of the inside draw tonight and looks like a major threat.
OUR MAJOR JACK (7) scored his first SA win at Victor Harbor last start when he defeated SAMARA FURY.
KICKAPOO CREEK (8) and CHEERS POVERTY (5) are also chances.
 Race 4: PORT PIRIE KEVIN MARK MEMORIAL
LETS GET SHORTY (7) has won three of his last five starts. He should be able to lob into a nice position off the second row and be a major chance tonight.
ROSIANO (5), MAKE HASTE (6) and ABSTRACTOR (4) are also chances.
 Race 5: PORT PIRIE GANNONS SPORTSWEAR & TROPHIES PACE
WESAIDSO (2) hasn’t won a race for a few starts. Tonight is a lot easier compared to his recent runs, and he will be very hard to beat.
ROCKNROOSTA (3), FOREVER BETTOR (5) and IN PLAY (4) look the next best.
Race 6: PORT PIRIE – PIRIE SIGNS & DESIGNS PACE
 ILLAWONG KIM (5) has been racing in some consistent form. If she can begin well off the arm and find the lead early, she will be hard to run down.
FOOTLOCK (4), ALAKAZAM (2) and MELODY MAY (3) are also chances.

GLOBE DERBY PARK - SATURDAY 30TH APRIL 2022
Race 1: JIVE CAFÉ CLAIMING PACE
 YKIKAFIL (6) has won his last three starts convincingly. He defeated CLARENDEN ENVOY by 2.9 metres. He looks extremely hard to beat against this field.
SECRET JACK (1), JULIUS FRANCO (3) and JAKES SPORTWRITER (7) are also chances.
Race 2:  PRONTO UNITED SERVICES PACE
 WHISTLE ON BY (1) has her second run back from a break tonight. She ran third at Kapunda on Sunday after facing the breeze. She gets the benefit of the inside draw tonight and will be hard to run down if she leads early.
ROCKNROLL YANKEE (7) has the tricky draw to contend with, but he has been racing in career best form and deserves consideration tonight.
SOHO BOB (6) has won two of his last four and has been extremely consistent recently.
MIDNIGHT CALM (8) will get a nice run through from the second row.
 Race 3: 2022 TAB SA TROTTERS CUP
C K SPUR (12) has the 50 metre handicap to contend with but he keeps finding ways to win races at the moment. If he trots smoothly he is going to be extremely hard to beat.
ALDEBARAN ALISSA (9) had a massive win at Kapunda last start and looks well positioned off the 10 metre handicap tonight.
MASS DESTRUCTION (11) and SCRUFFY DOOLAN (8) are also chances.
 Race 4: 2022 TAB SA PACING DERBY
JAWSOFLINCOLN (3) looked a little bit lost at Victor Harbor last start. His runs before that were extremely good. He has a tremendous record at Globe Derby with 6 starts for 4 wins. If he begins well, will be very hard to run down.
EVER HOPING (8) will have plenty of space to move off the second row. He will love the longer distance and will be looking to win three derby races in a row tonight.
BIG BLACK BETTY (1) will run a cheeky race from the inside draw.
MY PURPLE PATCH (6) was running a solid race at Victor Harbor until he galloped. He may be an improver tonight.
Race 5:  2022 VALLEY HORSE TRANSPORT LEGENDS TROT
 A very tough race to work out.
SUPER ANGUS (10) is first up from a six week spell. He’s usually not a bad performer after a break. If he can run his best race against this field, he will be a chance.
WINSOME RUBY (2), PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN (1) and MAKE MINE MUSCLE (4) are also chances.
 Race 6: 2022 TAB SA PACING CUP
JIMMY MACK (6) was three wide for a lot of the trip at Kapunda last start. He returns to Globe Derby tonight where he has a record of 14 starts for 11 wins. His performances in this cup series have been excellent. He looks hard to beat tonight.
WRANGLER (9) was a winner two starts back at Victor Harbor defeating MOTU PREMIER by 2.5 metres. He was beaten behind MOTU PREMIER last start by a small margin at Kapunda. If he can lob into a nice position he will be storming home in the later stages of the race.
CULLENBURN (1) will run a strong race from the inside draw.
MOTU PREMIER (7) is racing well but will struggle from the draw.
 Race 7: 2022 TAB 2YO KINDERGARTEN SERIES (FINAL)
 RUPERT ROSS (5) was very impressive on debut when he defeated LETHAL LOUIE by 16 metres. If he can repeat that run tonight he is going to be extremely hard to beat.
LAYLAS PRINCESS (2) was another strong winner on debut last week, She will run another strong race tonight against this field.
LETHAL LOUIE (6) and HONOLULU LULU (1) are also chances.
 Race 8: JUST WRECKING TOYOTAS PACE
 GOES BOOM (8) was a last start winner at Globe Derby when he defeated STEINMAN by 2.1 metres after facing the breeze. He is a major chance tonight.
ROYAL SPEECH (3), DONT NEED AN EXCUSE (6) and CLARENDEN ENVOY (1) are also chances.

RACE 8 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION PACE - 1800MS
Stewards have opened an inquiry into the circumstances that a post-race blood sample taken from the winner MASTER CARIBBEAN detecting the presence of the substance, Tramadol.  After taking evidence from Trainer Ms T Warren, Stablehand Mr C Fuller, HRSA Veterinarian Dr R Haensel and RASL Laboratory Director Dr D Batty the Inquiry was adjourned to permit Stewards to seek further expert evidence regarding the elimination of Tramadol by humans.
