The ultra-consistent EURYPHAESSA (4) who has had 3 wins, a 2nd, and 3rd in SA has put in some incredible runs for trainer Ingrid Smith, and part-owner, breeder, ex-trainer Kylie Sugars has made the trek across the border to take the reins in this event.

ARMCHAIR DRIVE (5) seems best ranked however the challenge of stablemate ENROLLED (2) from the lighter handicap may throw up a surprise if negotiates the perfect trip.
91 days off the scene since MILLY MAGIC (4) put up a gallant display in the 2022 SA Trotters Cup where she was strong in defeat finishing 2nd to C K Spur NZ. If the daughter of Majestic Son USA is up to speed with her most recent form prior to her time away from the racetrack, she one of the best in this race. Has the ability but is first up without any formal hit outs.
Racing out of his grade GREAT FANTASY NZ (1) will be interesting.
SCALLYWAG SAM (6) will need to show an enormous improvement following the extremely average performance last start to be anywhere near the placings however has had a four week freshen up since then.
Race 6 TAB Venue Mode Pace
Firing off the arm to take control last start BLING IT UP (5) didn’t disappoint. The 3yo finished off weary however only missing out on a top 3 placing by approximately 2 metres. If gifted an easier race this time round could be finishing closer to the pointy end.
OHOKA AGENT NZ (2) drawn well to find a suited position.
STRAWBERRY DELIGHT (6), VILLAGE CHARACTER (4) have claims if at their best.
Race 7 Hummer SA Trotters Mobile

GLOBE DERBY PARK - TUESDAY 2nd AUGUST 2022
Race 1 TAB Live SKY Racing Vision Pace
A race where there are a handful of podium hopes.
BELLA SOFIA (3) stuck on well most recently, however not expecting her to gain such a cushioned position as she did last start although, she is still worth an investment in this field.
Last start winner STYLISH HEAVEN (7) is disadvantaged by barrier seven, however has been racing well and is worth following.
Stablemates PASSIONATE PURSUIT (2) and SUTTER MAN (3) could be around the mark.
SAMARA FURY (9), VALBARANN (5), MIDNIGHT SPORT (8), MANOEUVER MAN (6) with the right trips could be a chance. All are capable of racing well under suited conditions.
Race 2 Neilson Gas & Plumbing Pace
Luckless recently VILLANELLE (4) is racing in peak form and is drawn to give another honest showing.
MAJOR JOLT (8) may need to weave a passage, as the current road map could cause some blockages, however the colt’s performances of late have been ultra-appealing.
Drawn to challenge NO ULTIMATUMS (3) will be pushing forward.
HESTON BLUE STREAK (5) and HILLTOP BREEZE (10) seem thereabouts.
Out wide GOPATI NZ (7) is first up for the Robert Caton stable.
Race 3 Bianco Reinforcing Pace
With the right trip EDWINA EXPRESS (5) looks to get her chance.
SHELDON (9) finished top three at his last two outings and could be worth an investment as a podium hope tonight.
TRADE WHISPERS (7) will be starting from the less than stellar draw but could be seen thereabouts.
Ability wise PERSIUS (8) seems well suited, however has been unplaced his last 7 starts. Will need to be taken on trust that he has improved.
First up in SA, IM LADY MADELEINE (6) could be a thought, however previous form reads inconsistent.
Race 4 Eco-Wise Plumbing Group Pace
Showing improvement at each respective outing and being the only horse in the field to have ever won a race, PLUTUS (4) seems to be a top three chance.
With only 5 race starts under his belt, and 249 days off the scene TRIPLETS (8) will be interesting first up not having any official workouts.
Drawn the pole MODSQUAD (1) is the solitary 2yo having his debut against the older runners.
THIS GENERATION (7) has shown to be an extremely green 3yo and needs a lucky break to be considered from the widest gate.
ACES SHADOW (5), OUT OF DODGE (2) and MAJOR WEST (6) could be chiming in also.
Race 5 K & S Electrical Pace
Petite field of six with three last start winners.
TIDAL SURGE (5) was a solid effort most recently when leading all the way first past the post.
In the same race THUMBS UP NZ (4) finished 7th beaten 12.9m, however since then THUMBS UP NZ has proven to be a winner – making ground four wide around the bend in a slightly easier field. Tonight, the small field will aid his chances.
STAR WRITER (6) was gifted the perfect economical trip at his most previous outing for his preferred racing style knocking off Jakes Sportwriter. From the widest barrier tonight will be slightly tougher trying to find that picture-perfect run however, will be closing in late and has formidable claims against this class.
WHITESTARCHRISTIAN (2) seems next best.
Race 6 Hygain Regain Trotters Handicap
A display of poor behaviour immediately following the start of the race caused CONFISCATED (1) to lose all hope at his South Australian debut. With a previous record in QLD of becoming fractious at the barrier and swinging sideways, the solitary 3yo will be taken on trust that he will bring his best manners to the table.
ATEGO TITAN (4) has claims against this class, as well as MEET MICHAELANGELO (7) and BACARDI BINDI (3).
Race 7 F & D Azzurro Earthworks Pace
If it finds the lead CELESTIAL DAYBREAK (1) will be extremely hard to run down, however failed to muster its traditional gate speed from the same barrier two starts ago.
If CELESTIAL DAYBREAK (1) repeats its poor ace draw performance, from the neighboring alley the speedy ILLAWONG KIM (2) could take control.
The lone Francesca Carbone runner BOSS MAJOR (3) has claims but will need a lucky break to salute.
LIBERTY TEE JAY (4) seems next best.
