NMHCA Spotlight
Transition of UnitedHealthcare Members to Presbyterian Health Plan

As you know, last week Presbyterian Health Plan announced it will acquire 85,000 Medicaid members insured under UnitedHealthcare of New Mexico. Under the agreement, the UnitedHealthcare members will transition to Presbyterian on September 1st.

Earlier this week, NMHCA and UnitedHealthcare hosted a conference call for members to discuss and ask any questions related to the transition of members.

Next week, on Tuesday, August 28th, at 2:00 pm, NMHCA and Presbyterian Health Plan are hosting a conference call for members to discuss and allow members to ask any questions related to the transition, contracting, and claims directly with Presbyterian Health Plan leadership. If you are interested in joining the call, please email Jason at, and he will send you the call-in information.

Additionally, if you took a photo at the NMHCA photobooth you can browse and download a copy of your photos here.

Thank you to everyone who attended and a special thank you to our gold sponsors, Genesis HealthCare and the New Mexico Health Care Workers' Compensation Group.
