Important Game Day Info
Please make sure you have the following items for game day:
Instrument with all necessary accessories.
Flip folder with ALL music (each member must have their own flip folder)
Lyre to hold music. (each member must have their own lyre)
Red water jug (filled with water.)
Hays Band Shirt
Black Band Shoes
LONG Black Socks (Mid-Calf)
Inhalers (if needed)
Game Day Meal - OPTIONAL WHATABURGER
Band students who are ALREADY on the competition meal plan will receive dinner as they get on the bus to head to the game (Whataburger: 1/4 double meat-double cheese burger; chips, cookie, fruit, Gatorade).
If you are NOT currently on the competition meal plan, but would like to purchase this particular meal, please bring $10 cash to the band office by 11/13. There will be an envelope at Mrs. Gray’s desk to place payment AND add your name to the list.
Again, this meal is optional and only those students who are not on the competition meal plan will need to bring $10 should they choose to purchase this meal.

Dinner Etiquette -
Students - please remember that our use of the cafeteria on Friday afternoons falls outside of the normal school hours. Therefore it is a courtesy and a privilege to have the additional space to eat and socialize.
When we release from the cafeteria to pick-up uniforms, PLEASE do not leave early. Wait until a Director releases your specific section or table. If everyone gets up and leaves at the same time, this causes a massive congestion in the uniform room and hallway. Please be patient!
