Hey there,

Remember, all those goals you set at the start of the year 2020? Chances are, there are at least a couple of those resolutions that you haven't gotten around to. And time is running out. The Countdown to 2021 has already began!

Every New Year people set goals–or resolutions–for the year. After all, January 1st offers a fresh start. There are 365 days in front of you which you can use to create the life you want. Unfortunately, things don’t always go as planned.

In fact, when trying to achieve our New Year’s resolutions, most people drop off before or around mid of the year.

What's still on your this year's wishlist? Maybe one or more of the following:

  • Lose 5kgs
  • Start a blog
  • Declutter and Organize your space
  • Waking up at 5 AM every day
  • Pursuing Side Hustle

Whatever goals you haven't gotten around to yet, the most likely culprit is Procrastination. In this week's newsletter, let's talk about how to get over procrastination and make the most of the 100 days left of the year.

here's your action plan to make the most of 100 days left of the year..

Step 1:  Look back at the resolutions you set at the start of this year. Which are still unfinished? Pick one of your unfinished resolutions. You should be able to finish the resolution that you choose by the end of the year. If your chosen resolution can't be completed before the new year begins, pick a different goal, or make it smaller so that you can complete before December 31st.

Step 2:  Make sure your resolution is written down as a SPECIFIC GOAL and not as a WISH. For example:
  • Wish: "I want to write an e-book"
  • Specific Goal: "In the next 50 days I am going to write a 100-page e-book on how to learn XXXX. I'm going to break down the process of learning the specific skill into 10 steps, and write one chapter for each step."

Step 3: Set December 31st as the deadline for achieving your goal.

Step 4: Resolve to work on your goal for one hour a day from today until December 31st. Make sure you time block your one hour a day into your schedule.

Step 5: Print out the 100-day calendar and put it somewhere visible. Every day that you work on your goal put a checkmark in the box for that day. Make sure you don't break the chain. 🙂

Step 6: Make sure that the goal you're going to be working on is meaningful to you.

Step 7: Make the process as fun as possible. Reward yourself on achieving small milestones, for example, treat yourself when you complete 10 days in a row without fail or when you're halfway through your goal, etc.

Step 8: Find a way to hold yourself accountable.

With less than 100 days to the year 2021, you have everything to gain and absolutely nothing to lose. Always focus on how you can be better than you were yesterday.
