AU's 2019 Three Minute Thesis (3MT ®) Competition
FGS is excited to announce our top three from the AU 3MT Competition!  Thank you to our presenters, judges, and all who came out to support the students.
Cash prizes to the top three were generously provided by AU's Research Centre
 
1st Place- $1000 prize
 Dustin Purnell (Mast of Counselling Program)


Supervisor: Dr. Simon Nuttgens
3MT Title: Ethical Tensions in Sex Addiction Counselling

Dustin will go on to represent AU and compete at the Western Regional Competition which is being held at the
University of Northern British Columbia on April 17, 2019.
Winners from the Western Regional Competition will go on to compete at the National Competition which will be held virtually.
 Good luck Dustin!

2nd Place - $500 prize

2019 Graduate Student Research Conference - "One AU"
September 13 - 15, 2019
We are gearing up for the 2019 Graduate Student Research Conference which will take place virtually and in-person at the Executive Royal Hotel in Leduc, AB. 
The theme of the conference this year will be "One AU"
