What's New? Chatting with the Chair

I’m looking for some interested and experienced faculty members to participate in a podcast series. The idea is to share your tips and tricks or lessons learned for effective teaching practice (face-to-face, blended, fully online, or HyFlex). If you have something you’d like to share with other faculty at Cambrian about your work, I’d love to interview you!

The podcasts will be 15-20 minutes in length, interview style, and shared in a way that enables you to listen to them while you’re on your way to and from work. Please send me an email jenni.hayman@cambriancollege.ca or call at extension 6827 and we can book some studio time.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Jenni Hayman

Ideas for Assessment: Grading Checklists

Like your grocery list, a grading checklist contains a series of elements that are required components of an assessment. Typically, one mark is assigned to each element of the checklist. Students either did or did not include those elements, either earning or not earning the associated marks.
