The use of HRV in neuropsychology research has been greatly popularized over the past decades due to its significant relationships with some neuroimaging signals, psychophysiological constructs, and psychopathological disorders. Neuroscience Researchers in Singapore
"Dr Hui Min Tan is devoted to understanding how animals, human and non-human, construct an internal model of the world that they experience.
With Profs John O’Keefe and Francesca Cacucci (UCL), she charted the development of spatial memory in the rodent hippocampal formation for her PhD, finding that the neural representation of head direction preceded the experience and memory of large-scale space, with the binding of
the internal and external frames of reference coincident with eye-opening. Then, with Dr Anne Rifkin-Graboi (SICS), she studied the contributions of childhood experiences and mental formations of mothers, mediated by hippocampal function, to their parenting sensitivity.
She then returned to the study of spatial memory with Dr Shih-Cheng Yen (NUS), asking how the intricately described hippocampal circuits and dynamics in rodents can be translated to primates, and what the contribution of purposeful vision is to the neural representation of places past, present and future."

An fMRI Investigation of Hot and Cool Executive Functions in Adults with ADHD
The Clinical Brain Lab at NTU is recruiting individuals aged 21 to 40 who are clinically diagnosed with ADHD to participate in a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) study that aims to identity the neural correlates of social reward processing. The study will take place at NUS.
The PEBBLE Study: Understanding Bilingual and Biliteracy Development
The PEBBLE Study at NTU/NIE is recruiting bilingual children aged 7 to 8 to participate in a study that aims to understand bilingual and biliteracy development. Children will complete a series of computerized language tasks at home or at NTU/NIE.
