Issue 46

Hello <<First Name>>,

We never know what is around the corner....

Changes... Celebrations... Challenges...

One consistent element in all the corners we go around, is the presence of Christ in our lives.

As a Christian, what a comforting fact that is.

Be comforted and be comforting this week....

FAITH GATHERINGS

Third Sunday of Easter

For the word of God to become a living word, we need to listen beyond the words to the one speaking to us through Scripture.
It is our faith that God speaks to us as we listen to “the very voice of the pilgrim people God.”
This does not happen of its own accord; it calls for a listening ear and an open heart.

Prayer
Merciful God, anoint me with you Holy Spirit. As I read your Word, let me hear your voice speaking to me from within.
Give me the wisdom to understand your message to me. Let your Word be the joy of my heart and the light to my feet.
Give me strength to build my life on your Word. Let it be done to me according to your Word.
May I rejoice in the blessedness of hearing your Word and keeping it.
Speak Lord; your servant is listening.

(adapted from reflections on the Gospel by Kieran O’Mahony OSA, www.tarsus.ie )
Tune in to the streaming service before 11:30am Mass to hear the welcome.

Our goal is to make our liturgies meaningful celebrations of a community of faith, worshiping God in all of God’s ways.
It is possible to view Sunday Masses on our Kilquade Parish Live Stream YouTube channel and to revisit homilies here on our Homilies from the Weekend YouTube channel.

As we are unable to gather in community, there is the opportunity to make a prayer request through here or on the websites.
These prayers will be included in our night prayer online gathering.
You are welcome to join us for Night Prayer at 8pm each weekday.
See the website for full details. All are welcome.

Let us pray for those who have died recently.

Michael Quinn

Let us also pray for their families and friends.
May they rest in peace.
