First Communion Preparation Programme for Families

Come and See... Wednesday 2nd June at 7.30pm

Dear Girls and Boys, Parents and Guardians,

It has been a couple of weeks since we have been in touch.

We have two pieces of information below to share with you.

Enjoy the sunshine and keep safe.

God Bless,
Fr. Gerard Tyrrell.

Let Us Gather Virtually...

On Wednesday 2nd June at 7.30pm you are invited to join a streamed gathering from St. Anthony's Church.

At this meeting we will
  • gather in prayer, explore what it is to break bread together and to share it
  • set a challenge
  • give information about our options and plan
  • give information about the working groups and what to expect in the coming weeks.
Click here on Wednesday 2nd June to join us!
In advance of this virtual gathering we ask that the boys and girls with the help of those at home prepare as follows:
  • Invite all members of the family in the house to gather at 7.30pm on Wednesday 2nd to join the liturgy.
Here is the link to use on that evening.
  • Have a candle ready
  • Have a pizza readily baked, so that the children can break and share it with those present when invited to do so!
  • Invite any other relatives to look in also from their own homes.

We issued the first video from the Table of the Lord series a few weeks ago.

We are conscious that we do not place any undue pressure on children and families at this time and so we held back on issue 2 and 3.

This has been intentional on our part. We have not forgotten you all!

Instead, now we are inviting you to watch Eleanor, Joanna and Fr. Chris for the 2nd and 3rd video and have a look at the accompanying resources.

We suggest you take your time and look at these at a time that suits children and parents.

See the link to these resources below.
