Tomorrow is Election Day; polls open at 7:00 a.m.

Many people probably know how they are going to vote, but the more than $60,000 that has been funneled into the Vote Yes effort by an "unholy" alliance of the DFL, AFSCME 5, the faith-based ISAIAH organization, and the Minnesota Jobs Coalition (courtesy of a $30,000 donation by Illinois-based Republic Services) should be troubling to everyone who values democracy.

Given the slick Vote Yes ad pieces hitting every mail box in St. Paul, it's very likely that spending by the Vote Yes forces could top $100,000!!

Is this how a citizen's referendum should be decided?

To date, the Mayor, the Unions, and ISAIAH have said nothing to denounce the huge "dark money" contribution from a multinational hauler that has been a major beneficiary of the legal monopoly that organized trash created in St. Paul.

It seems that winning is all that matters, even if fear and mistruths are what is required.

Don't fall for these kind of partisan tactics.

Check out the series of videos we created (with corrected links) that help debunk the scare tactics coming out of the Mayor's office and misinformation being spread around the internet by the Vote Yes forces.

What a good trash program looks like:

Please share liberally with your friends and neighbors!!

Other ways you can help right now:
  • Grab your lawn sign and wave it at busy intersections during morning & afternoon rush hour tomorrow.
  • Drag friends to the polls and make sure they vote.
  • Offer rides to those who need transportation
  • Find your polling place here
  • Know the rules for same-day registration and be willing to vouch for others.

As an entirely grassroots, volunteer campaign, we can't do it without you!

Thank you for your continued support!
