Supportive Housing residents are often invisible in our society. The "Storytelling For Change" Initiative was to help residents build their confidence and skills to be able to share their stories with others and build a platform to do so. By sharing their stories Residents will shed light on what it is like to experience homelessness and/or live with a chronic disability. 
 
The Supportive Housing Providers Association (SHPA) in partnership with Housing Action Illinois is please to present to you !

This publication will be used to educate the broader community on homelessness and the impact that supportive housing has on the experiencing homelessness and the greater community whole increasing resources and better housing policies through a greater understanding of supportive housing.

Sunday, January 19, 2020 Senators gathered to choose the next Senate President, after Sen. President John Cullerton (D-6/Chicago) announced his intentions to resign. After much debate the Senators have chosen Assistant Majority Leader Don Harmon (D-39/Oak Park) to succeed Cullerton as President. Read more in the report below.
