HFS / DHS Info:

SEPTEMBER FINANCIAL REPORT DUE OCTOBER 20;  We strongly encourage you to submit your financial reports earlier than the established deadline. The sooner you submit your reports the sooner payments can be processed. Late reports will result with your agency being placed on the stop pay list. This action will effect ALL state payments to your agency not just payments for these programs. 

We also strongly encourage that if you are not set-up for Direct Deposit please consider doing so this will also speed up receipt of your payments. 

If you are experiencing issues with getting reports in on-time please be sure to contact Bureau staff right away. If you are in need of technical assistance please contact either Aaron Eldridge at or Jennifer Orban at

New Funding Available for the Creation of Community-Based Supportive Housing
As announced, the Illinois Housing Development Authority is now accepting applications under the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Development Program to fund developments serving special needs populations and persons with disabilities, including residents who are transitioning out of nursing homes and into community living. We encourage all eligible sponsors to apply for this opportunity. Applications are due to IHDA on October 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

Charitable Trust Stabilization Fund Grant Opportunity (deadline today)
The Charitable Trust Stabilization Fund was created in 2007 to help small non-profits across Illinois. Money for the Fund comes from the filing fees not-for-profit organizations pay to incorporate with the State of Illinois. The program is funded by non-profits and exists to support non-profits.
