Message from Tom

Hi everyone,
As anybody I’ve spoken to this month will know I’m really excited about Sunday. Firstly because I’m looking forward to being with you all in church or online as we move back toward a more recognisable form of gathered worship with our young people restarting their activities and our band bringing some great music. But also because of our upcoming series as we explore the book of James together.

As a church leader I’ve never been so sure of God’s direction on what He wants us to study than I am of this series and that leaves me excited about what He has to say to us through it. This Sunday we will cover the context of James and that will help us to hear God’s voice more clearly through the coming months. If you aren’t going to be around live then I can’t encourage you enough to catch up with the service when you can, it isn’t to be missed.
We’re going to be reinstating our gathered prayer before the service so if you can then please join us at 0930 in the church back room. I could go on for ever but I won’t, other than to say... Thank you for all the love we have received so far. This is a brilliant church. Don’t miss Sunday at 1030.
Every blessing,

If one of these is yours and you would like it back or might benefit from the use of one. Then let Ebe know by the 19th of September and we will get it to you.

Sunday morning prayer @ OBC

From September 12th we will be reintroducing prayer before the Sunday Service.
This is a prayer meeting for the whole church lifting up all that the Church is doing to see God's kingdom come including what is taking place in the Service that day.
Church is not just a set unconnected individuals but a body of believers who wants to build God's kingdom together. That means we need to pray together!
So if you able, please make every effort to come.
We will be praying from 9.30am to 10am in the back room.
See you there!
