Derek and Ashley, owners of Soup Surreal, had never really experienced Rotary Hospice until they visited their dear friend Sam in his final days at Rotary Hospice.
"We were blown away by how the hospice feels so much like home. There's couches, it's comfortable, it felt like we were going to his home to have a visit. The quiet, peaceful atmosphere made us feel that anyone who knows they're passing deserves to have this kind of a space for themselves and their family, whatever their journey is."
For Ashley, who also experienced Rotary Hospice with another family member recently, supporting Rotary Hospice and the Lights of Love campaign has taken on even more meaning, "hospice allows for more connection and love."
