February is for crêpes, love-food and podcasts
Winter is not over yet - my weekly fruit and vegetable box is still full of root vegetables, cabbages, leeks, apples and pears. I'm so glad OddBox sent some peppers home from Spain that would otherwise have been wasted!
Fortunately, February has a few celebrations and the French love to celebrate with food! On the 2nd of February, for "la Chandeleur", we flip crêpes with a coin in our left hand for good fortune. For "la Saint Valentin", we eat aphrodisiac food. Allow me to say that love-food is welcome not only on the 14th of February so listen to suggestions from the "On va déguster" podcast.
